Gravestones of Rabbi Seligmann Levi (1768-1841) and his wife, Fromet Levi (1763-1829), my great-great-great-great-great-grandparents, in the town of Nassau in Hessen, Germany.
My most famous relative: Erich Mühsam. Cousin Erich was a well known poet and a leader of the anarchist movement in early 20th century Germany. He was one of the three or four top leaders of the Bavarian revolution in 1919, that established a short-lived Bavarian Soviet Republic. When the Nazis came to power, he was one of the people they murdered very early (mid-1934).
The oldest picture of a relative I have. Pincus Pappenheim, my great-great-great-great-great-grandfather. He lived 1737-1807.
